The official launch of the 'Beads for Change' project took place at Mbale Secondary School on 19th February 2008. Nick Falk, Anne Jakins and the Head of Mbale SS, Sam Kuloba presented bicycles to students as part of the launch proceedings. The bicycles were purchased with the funds raised through the sales of beads manufactured by students.
